Amidst fears of disbandment and endless controversy, Blackpink arose from the chaos stronger and more popular than ever. And as a thank you to their fans' unwavering support, they’re giving fans a treat as they embark on a much-anticipated World Tour, <DEADLINE>.

For those who live under a rock, Blackpink is one of the biggest K-pop girl groups whose popularity has expanded into the international sphere. This upcoming tour will see the 4 members, Jennie, Lisa, Rosé, and Jisoo, absolutely slay the stage with chart-toppers and bonus solo performances from their individual careers. Whether you’re a lifelong Blink or just love their music, this is one concert you won't want to miss.

How can I get a ticket to the concert?

Securing Blackpink concert tickets is like hopping into the thick of a Friday night toto queue:  be ready to fight for it or lose it. Unsurprisingly, tickets are likely long gone at this point. Resale is an option, but proceed with extreme caution as scammers love a desperate Blink. Your safest bet is to monitor the official ticketing platform for any updates or additional ticket releases and pray for a miracle.

Your smooth ride to the stadium

The concert is set to take place at the Singapore National Stadium. While the venue is epic, brace yourself to squeeze through hordes on the way in and out. Don’t be surprised if nearby MRT stations turn into bottlenecks that take anywhere from 30 minutes to a couple of hours to clear.

If you want to preserve those sick concert fits that you’ve spent months planning for, I recommend finding other modes of transportation (such as car-sharing 😉) so that you don’t show up sweaty and dishevelled. After all, if you don’t have some hot pics to show for the experience, then were you ever really there? Personally, I like finding an ulu carpark nearby as it’s both affordable and has more available lots.

Here are a few nearby car parks that can help you beat the crowd and save a few dollars:

Hot tips from a fellow Blink

(Photo: Mixonline)

If you’re a first-timer, you’re going to need these hot tips. Turn up well-prepared and reserve all your energy for singing and dancing along to your favourite hits.

  1. Bring a portable fan and water! The stadium can get hot and crowded, so a handheld fan (preferably pink!) will be your new best friend. Stay hydrated so you don't burn out before the encore.

  2. The official merch pop-up is happening from the 25th to 30th November. If you’re ready to drop a couple hundred dollars on some tees and the special edition lightstick, then set aside some time as queues are going to be long. Tune in to the official merch provider, Merch Traffic, for updates on the pop-up.

  3. Know the event rules and regulations if you don’t want to be barred from entry. One honest mistake and you could be left arguing with security rather than enjoying the show. So double check the policies and keep yourself out of trouble!

  4. Don’t stick out like a sore thumb. Know the setlist and learn the lyrics so that you can sing along!

  5. Don’t waste a good fit on some mid photos! Haji Lane’s just a short hop from the National Stadium, and there’s no better backdrop for a quick pre-concert photoshoot.

FAQ: Your burning concert questions

  • What should I wear?

There’s no official dress code, but it would be a crime not to show up in black and pink. Dress smart in breathable fabrics and comfy shoes so that you can groove to the beats with zero regrets.

  • What time should I arrive?

If you're queuing for merchandise or plan to grab some food at the venue, aim for 3-4 hours before the concert start time. If you only care about getting to your seat, 1-1.5 hours before the show will give you enough time to clear security and find your spot without rushing.

  • Can I bring a camera?

For all events at the National Stadium, professional cameras and filming equipment are strictly forbidden. Your phone camera is usually fine, but leave the fancy gear at home!
