Food deals in Singapore this September

02 • TANYU

TANYU is the Chinese grilled fish chain where the fish arrives on a sizzling tray and keeps bubbling in its sauce for the next twenty minutes. Over 40 skewer flavours sit alongside it. And to make things sweeter, they’re offering 20 percent off skewers after 8pm, every day, until 10 September 2026. 

If lunch suits you better, weekday sets run $15.90 for a single portion of grilled fish with three flavour options, or $49++ for a set for two. Add $2.90 for a cold dish and a drink. Lunch pricing runs Monday to Friday, 11.30am to 5pm.

03 • OMMA Korean Charcoal BBQ

Charcoal grills, thick-cut pork belly, the usual banchan parade. 2 diners get 20% off, 3 get 30%, and 4 or more get 40% off the total bill, with a minimum spend of $100 per table. Free events in Singapore in September

Two of the biggest things on the month's event calendar cost absolutely nothing!

06 • Singapore Night Festival

The festival wraps on 5 September 2026 after a 16-night run, and the overwhelming majority of it costs nothing, so be sure to catch this soon!

The Bras Basah.Bugis precinct splits into four zones, with the National Museum facade projection, Tales of Earth and Sea, as the main attraction. There's also a speech-activated kinetic wall at Funan and a luminous seafarer installation down Bugis Street Art Lane.

07 • Mid-Autumn Festival at Gardens by the Bay

Free admission, sixteen nights, and eight lantern installations across the Gardens. Chief among them is the Colonnade of Lights, a beautiful display featuring roughly 1 thousand hand-painted lanterns. Moonlit Garden and Waterfall Fantasy are 2 other great, incredibly aptly-named sights worth walking to. A marketplace runs alongside with food, carnival games, and family rides, though those carry their own charges.

An LED lion dance opens the run on 12 September, and the finale on 27 September brings a dragon dance and the Singapore Big Flag Championship.

Days out with a September discount

08 • Snow City

As if Singapore couldn’t get any hotter, Snow City is finally closing up shop after 26 years on 30 September 2026. To give us all one last snow day, tickets at up to 30% off until then. Adults pay $19, children aged three to 12 pay $16, and each ticket covers an hour of snow play plus one ice bumper car ride.

They're also clearing brand-new winterwear at $10 an item while stocks last, jackets, pants, and boots included. If you've got a cold-weather trip coming up, that's a cheap way to pack for it. 09 • Halloween Horror Nights 14

The scare season opens 25 September 2026 and runs on select nights through 1 November. Non-peak tickets start at $68, peak nights are $78, and Mastercard holders save $5 on entry
