Warning signs are white triangles with a red border. These what's ahead: a sharp bend, a pedestrian crossing, an approaching ERP gantry.
Prohibitory signs are circular, with a red border and white background. These typically signal stuff like no entry, no U-turn, speed limits, and so on.
Mandatory signs have blue circles, white symbols, and instructions telling you what you must do. Turn left, keep left, go straight. See a blue circle, follow the white arrow.
Information signs are blue rectangles. Parking areas, one-way streets, expressway entry points, dead ends.
