This award-winning karaoke place is honestly so fun even outside the booths 😄 How many karaoke joints with a free pickleball area have y’all been to?
I made a complete fool of myself when I challenged my boss to a match, but you know what? I had fun, and that’s all that matters 💙 The actual karaoke booths were these unique shed structures that were spacious and comfy on the inside, and the air-conditioning wasn’t too warm or too cold either. They also had a wide range of English, Malay, Chinese, and Korean songs in their karaoke system. All in all, a worthwhile experience.

Would it be weird to say that this is the first karaoke lounge to give me stage fright?
The VVIP room (40RM++/12.50SGD++) we booked for the hour had a microphone stand at the front of the room, which meant all eyes were on me when it was my turn to sing. For people who love the spotlight or want to practice their stand-up comedy routine, this place would be right up their alley, but it was nooot for me. The different themes of each room were pretty cool though! We did a futuristic room this time, but next time we’ll try the elegant European-themed one ⚜️

This branch is crazy cheap, and I’m considering gatekeeping this place so that y’all don’t flood the area place. But since I’m such a nice person, I’ll be benevolent and share the location.
At Loud Speaker, checking in between 11am and 1pm bags you a 3-hour session for just 10RM+ (3SGD+) 🤯 Songs can be chosen from the karaoke system or on your phone, AND there’s drinks and ice cream✨on the house✨ Insane value, right?

When I walked in, I genuinely wondered if I had come to the wrong place. I was greeted by sturdy gold-embellished pillars that stretched to the ceiling, and rows of swaying chandeliers casting bright lights over fancy tea tables. I felt so paiseh standing there in casual clothes, but the staff were so friendly and didn’t judge me. The karaoke booths were also well-maintained; although not as extra as the lobby, they had big screens and colourful disco lights to get you into a groovy mood🕺

I desperately need to know who designs these karaoke lounges because why do they all look so cool 😫
Superstar Family’s futuristic theme is genuinely a style I’d like to copy for my bedroom, but maybe the giant astronaut statue is a bit extra. The blue lighting was so nice though, it felt like I was stepping onto a new planet instead of a karaoke joint. The rooms were squeaky clean and the QR code system for song selection was easy to navigate, 10/10 no notes 👏

I really wish I stayed in JB longer. That way, I could have tried this branch’s weekend afternoon tea special 😢
For just 99RM (31SGD), I’d get 2 hours to sing, fancy fruits, fries, a seamless Youtube song selection system, and unlimited refills of my favourite drinks. The best things in life don’t stay for long, guys, so if you’re in the Mount Austin area, go to this karaoke joint ASAP. But don’t tell me if you did, because I will get jealous 💔
